ABOUT PANGEM
Pangem Enterprises and Pangem Testing Laboratory is the Pioneer Gem Testing and Diamond Grading Laboratory in Pune established in 1982 when the city was still called Poona.
In 2011 we established PANGEMTECH- Panjikar Gem Research & Tech Institute first Gem Research Laboratory in Pune.
We have presented and published technical papers on gemstones and diamonds in various conferences in the International Gemmological Conferences (IGC), De Beers Diamond Conferences, Gemological Institute of Thailand (GIT) etc.
We are on the panel of Gemstone and Diamonds of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and member of the International Mineralogical Association (IMA).
We are Life Members of All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) & Founding Members of International Consortium of Gem Testing Laboratories (ICGL).
We test, identify & certify all types of Precious, Semi precious gemstones, Navratna/ navgraha gems, Organic - Gems, Pearls and Rudraksha.
- We issue Gem Testing Reports.. We provide Diamond Grading Reports. Re-Check other Lab Reports and give Second Opinion and Verify Reports. Studded Jewellery Authenticity Reports are issued.
- We provide Geographical Origin Reports for Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, Alexandrite and Pearls.
- We undertake on site Gem Testing Reports for Auction Houses, Museums and for Temple Trusts.
- We train students to become Professional Gemmologists. We conduct Certificate Courses in Basic Gemmology, Advanced Gemmology and Diamond Grading
- We have special Intensive Training Programs for Jewellery Industry Business man
- We train Jewellery Store Staff for updating their knowledge about gems.
- We conduct webinars on various gemstones to impart powerful latest Gem Knowledge
- We provide Valuation of Gemstones for Public, Auction Houses, Temple Trusts and for Government Departments like the Customs, Income Tax and Excise Offices.

Dr. Jayshree Panjikar is an internationally recognized authority on Gemmology. Dr. Panjikar is the first Indian lady to study for doctoral thesis on gemstones at the Heidelberg University, Germany. She is the co- author of the book ‘GEMSTONES: Properties and Identification’.

Gemmologist PANGEM TESTING LABORATORY
Aatish Panjikar is an experienced and a qualified gemmologist well known among the top Jewellers in Pune. Aatish has done his Diploma in Gemmology from Gemmological Institute of India and has over 20 years of experience.
He is a Certified Diamond Grader from HRD, Antwerp, Belgium and has also done a Certificate Course on Diamond Grading from GIA. He is a dedicated laboratory gemmologist and a prolific technical instructor on diamonds and gemstones.
Panjikar studied Production Engineering and did his onsite training program at the Tata Motors, Pune. He is a Life Member of the Forum of Indian Gemmologists for Scientific Studies.
Aatish Panjikar takes a very active role in the investigations and research on gemstones for technical papers and research projects with Dr. Jayshree Panjikar.
PRACHI JADHAV-PANJIKAR
Professional Gemmologist Diploma, B.Com. MBS (Human Resource), PGDBM (Human Resource), Diploma in Crystal Healing &Aroma Therapy, Professional Jewellery Designer
Prachi Jadhav-Panjikar is Masters in Business Studies (Human Resource) and has done her Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Human Resources).
Her career in Gems and Jewellery Industry began in the year 2009 when she did an intensive Diploma program ‘Professional Gemmologist’ from Seamless Education Academy, Pune.
Prachi is a professional Jewellery Designer and has done her training from GIA. She is known to produce exotic Jewellery Designs for exclusive clientele.
She has added another feather to her profile by doing Diploma in Crystal Healing. Her artistic Persona and Creative outlook has added a new creative avenue to the organization
